Somali Parliament, its 140 members, voted unanimously on Saturday cancelling a two-year presidential term extension for President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed. Kenya and Uganda have banned all flights from India due to the growing wave of COVID-19 cases from Saturday, 1st May 2021, midnight. Both nations have separately said, no travellers from India shall be allowed into their territories regardless of the route of travel. The Kenyan Section of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ Kenya) has confirmed Ms Elsy Chemurgor Sainna as Executive Director. In a statement issued Friday, Kelvin Mogeni, ICJ Kenya chairman said her appointment became effective 1 April 2021, a position she was serving in an acting capacity.
