Oppo, the leading smartphone manufacturer, has once again made headlines with the launch of two new camera-focused smartphones in Kenya – the Reno 10 Pro+ and the Reno 10.
The Reno 10 Pro+ is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens, capable of 3x optical zoom and an astounding 120x digital zoom.
The Reno 10 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a 32 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom support.
Priced at Ksh 69,999 and Ksh 56,999 respectively, both devices are available across the country and offer cutting-edge technology to photography enthusiasts.

The Reno 10 Pro+ is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and features a dedicated Marisilicon chip for image processing. The Reno 10 Pro is based on the Snapdragon 778G SoC, and both phones offer up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The camera setup on both devices is impressive, with the Reno 10 Pro+ featuring a triple camera setup at the back with a 50 MP primary camera, a 64 MP telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens. Both phones have a 32 MP selfie camera with support for up to 1080p video recording.
In terms of display, the Reno 10 Pro+ and the Reno 10 Pro both feature a stunning 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The battery life on both devices is impressive as well, with the Reno 10 Pro+ featuring a slightly larger battery at 4,700 mAh with support for up to 100W fast charging and the Reno 10 Pro featuring a battery capacity of 4,600 mAh with support for up to 80W fast wired charging and reverse charging.
Both devices run on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 skin on top and are likely to receive regular software updates in the future. With their advanced camera technology and impressive specs, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ and the Reno 10 Pro are sure to be popular among smartphone users in Kenya.
