The Reno16 price in Kenya starts at KES 69,999 for the Reno16 F 5G, OPPO Kenya announced. The Reno16 5G costs KES 79,999, which is KES 10,000 more. OPPO also sells the Enco Air5 earbuds at KES 3,999, and all three products sit in its stores across the country.
Reno16 price in Kenya puts the 5G KES 10,000 above the F
The Reno16 F 5G offers a battery of up to 7,000mAh, according to OPPO. The company puts batteries across the series at 6,700mAh or more. The unit mAh, or milliamp hours, measures battery capacity.
The statement does not say what the extra KES 10,000 buys. It lists no storage, memory or processor for either phone.
A buyer who adds earbuds pays KES 73,998 for the Reno16 F 5G and the Enco Air5. The Reno16 5G and the Enco Air5 together cost KES 83,998.
Both phones carry a 50MP selfie camera and a telephoto lens
The selfie camera has a 100 degree field of view, built to fit more people into group shots. The rear holds three cameras: a main camera with OIS, or optical image stabilisation, a telephoto portrait camera with about 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultra wide camera.
The Photos app gains a Create hub. AI Remix Collage combines photos or short videos into layered compositions with animated stickers, outlines and text. It also extracts moving subjects from Motion Photos or videos and turns them into stickers.
For video, 4K Auto Straighten Video keeps footage level while the user walks or moves. Dual View Video 2.0 improves stabilisation and switches between rear lenses during recording.
Batteries start at 6,700mAh and charge at 80W
OPPO pairs the batteries with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. The statement gives no charging times for the phones.
All models carry IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, which measure dust and water resistance. Splash Touch and Glove Touch keep the display responsive with wet or gloved hands.
AI LinkBoost 4.0 targets steadier network performance in crowds and areas with weak signal. OPPO says it cuts lag during gaming, streaming and video calls.
“The Reno16 Series reflects our commitment to developing technology that fits naturally into the lives of our consumers,” said Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager at OPPO Kenya.
ColorOS 16 adds AI tools that sort saved screens and payment records
ColorOS 16 runs the series. AI Mind Space stores saved on screen content in one place, and the AI Snap Key captures content with one press.
AI Bill Manager recognises digital payments and physical receipts and organises them into spending records and insights.
AI Mind Pilot coordinates multiple AI models for different tasks. It shows their responses side by side.
Enco Air5 earbuds cost KES 3,999 and run 13 hours per charge
The Enco Air5 offers 52dB active noise cancellation, with reduction levels set for a matatu stop, a commute or an office. The unit dB, or decibels, measures sound. A 12mm dynamic bass driver handles low notes, and OPPO Alive Audio adds spatial depth to music and film.
Playback reaches 13 hours per charge and up to 54 hours with the case, depending on usage and settings. Ten minutes on the charger gives up to 11 hours of playback under OPPO’s laboratory conditions.
Sound Master EQ offers three presets, Pure Original Sound, Mellow Vocals and Pulsing Bass, plus a 10 band custom equaliser. Calls use three microphones with AI noise reduction.
Each earbud weighs about 4.3g and carries an IP55 rating for dust and splashes. Bluetooth 6.1 and dual device connection keep a phone and a tablet paired at once.
