David Haye has opened up on the possibility of him returning to the ring having retired from boxing two years ago.
Haye, who hails from London, retired in May 2018 after suffering a fifth-round defeat to Tony Bellew in a rematch fight between the two heavyweights.
Haye further revealed that he has been training and has fully recovered from injuries that dimmed his career and is ready to fight.
Haye, however, noted that he would only step back in the ring to fight with the winner of the much-anticipated clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
Speaking to Behind The Gloves, the 39-year old said:
‘The only one that I would do it for is the winner of AJ and Tyson Fury because that would be No1 vs No1.
‘That’s probably the only one, but not really. It’s a lot to go through.
‘I got my body in a good place right now, and I’m in a good place. All my injuries have healed up. There’s been no hardcore training. I’ve been at home with my weights.’
An all British-clash between AJ and Fury will await as the two champions are set to fight –the former has to square off against Kubrat Pulev while the latter has a rematch against the Bronze Bomber from Alabama.
