Former Chief of Defence Forces General (Rtd) Samson Mwathethe will take charge as the chairman of Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) board. Safaricom has inducted to its board Raisibe Kgomaraga Morathi and Dilip Pal with effect from 1st November 2020 the telco said on Monday. Ms Raisibe Morathi was appointed Vodacom’s Chief Financial Officer and executive director to its board. Prior to her appointment, she was the Group Chief Finance Officer (CFO) at Nedbank since 2009. Kenyan students will compete at the global finals of the Huawei Sub-Saharan Africa ICT Competition scheduled for November 2020.  The students from JKUAT, Laikipia University, Multimedia University and the University of Nairobi are competing as the Kenyan team in the competition.
