The Kenyan government has extended the deadline to acquire a biometric passport by 10 months from March 2021 to Dec 31, 2021. The extension of the deadline has been attributed to the scaled-down operations of the Directorate of Immigration services. Regional low-cost carrier Jambojet on Tuesday announced a flexible payment scheme called ‘Jaza pole pole’ under which passengers will have to pay as low as Ksh 2,670 per person the total fare amount at the time of booking.
