Nzomo Mutuku, who led the Retirement Benefits Authority in Kenya from 2000 through 2022, steering its growth in the retirement benefits industry, has died, the company said Sunday. He was 53. RBA said he was instrumental in founding the Authority. Nzomo initially headed the Research and Policy function and rose to the CEO position in June 2018. “He has also made an invaluable contribution to the growth of the Retirement Benefits industry in Kenya, the region and internationally. The Communication Authority of Kenya (CA) has directed Mobile Network Operators to discontinue the issuance of licensed ICT platforms and services to betting companies that have not renewed licenses for the fiscal year 2022/23.
