Reportage Group, a real estate developer based in the UAE, is exploring further investment in Kenya while its Nairobi developments advance.
Group Managing Director Andrea Nucera and the Group’s senior leadership team toured DG JKIA, DG West and Enzo Residence during a recent visit. They reviewed project progress, met the local team and assessed potential development sites.
Three Nairobi projects worth more than KES 6 billion
The three developments comprise 819 residential and hotel apartments, with a combined development value above KES 6 billion. DG JKIA and DG West are under construction. Enzo Residence launched in August 2026.
- DG JKIA: 273 hotel apartments on Mombasa Road, near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and the Standard Gauge Railway corridor. Buyers have taken more than 90% of the units. Completion is scheduled for June 2027.
- DG West: 200 hotel apartments on Sports Road in Westlands.
- Enzo Residence: 346 studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments in Riverside.
Nucera: focus on market needs and efficient building
Nucera said the Group’s experience in Kenya has strengthened its confidence in the market. “Kenya is an important market for Reportage Group,” he said. “As we progress with our existing developments, we are also exploring opportunities to expand our presence through additional projects.”
He said the Group will build around what buyers need and will use technology and “more sustainable building practices” to improve efficiency and resource management across its properties.
Kenya stop forms part of a six country African tour
The Kenya visit was one leg of a wider African tour that also covered South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Angola and Rwanda. The tour coincided with the launch of Reportage Bay in Angola. The Group’s programme within Dubai Investments Park Angola includes two residential communities and an estimated total investment of about US$500 million.
Arrivals and prime prices point to demand
Knight Frank’s Kenya Market Update, H1 2026 reported that international arrivals through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Moi International Airport rose 13.1% to 506,622 in the first quarter of 2026, compared with the same period in 2025. Arrivals matter to hotel apartment developments such as DG JKIA and DG West.
The same report recorded a 6.2% rise in prime residential sale prices in the first half of 2026 from December 2025. Knight Frank linked the increase to steady demand and a shortage of quality prime housing.
Costs and financing conditions also bear on new projects. Kenya’s inflation rose to 7.3 percent in October, and KCB named oil prices and El Niño as risks to Kenya’s growth. For more on the sector, see Khusoko’s Property coverage and Markets reports.
