Epson is expanding its office printing solutions with the AM-C400 and AM-C550 A4 MFPs, which bring its Heat-Free Line Inkjet technology to a smaller format.

These printers offer the same energy efficiency and productivity benefits as existing Heat-Free Line Inkjet models but have a compact design ideal for A4 printing.

Designed for Efficiency and Space-Saving

  • High Performance: Both printers deliver fast print and scan speeds (up to 55ppm for printing and 100ipm for scanning), high paper capacities, and high-yield ink cartridges (up to 31,500 pages) for enhanced productivity.
  • Easy Operation: An improved color touchscreen user interface simplifies operation.
  • Compact Footprint: The unique C-shaped paper path minimizes the printer’s size, making it ideal for space-constrained environments.

Addressing Market Needs

  • Ideal for Channel Partners: These MFPs represent a profitable solution for resellers due to their ease of maintenance and support for sustainability initiatives.
  • Closing the A4 Gap: This launch fills Epson’s A4 inkjet lineup, offering a solution for users with higher print volumes.

Sustainability and Compatibility

  • Reduced Energy Consumption: Epson’s Heat-Free Line Inkjet technology uses less energy than traditional laser printers, aligning with sustainability goals.
  • Seamless Integration: Developed using Epson’s Open Platform, these MFPs integrate easily with existing IT infrastructure and are compatible with third-party software solutions.

“Boasting high print and scan speeds [up to 55ppm for print and 100ipm for scan], high paper capacities, and high-yield ink cartridges of up to 31,500 pages, both printers deliver enhanced productivity benefits; and with an improved colour touch-screen user interface, operation is quick and easy,” says Epson Regional Head for East and West Africa Mukesh Bector.
