Centum Investment Company has declared a dividend at the rate of 30 per cent of paid-up share capital for the financial year ended March 2022. 

The total payout of the dividend is around KSh391 million, the company said.

The company said in a statement: “The board of directors has proposed to pay out KSh391 million in dividend with respect to the financial year ended March 31, 2022 (KSh220 million in the prior year).” 

“This represents a dividend per share of KSh0.587, up from KSh0.33 in the last financial year.”

 Shareholders will approve this proposal at the annual general meeting.

The company said its losses surged to KSh1.98 billion from KSh1.85 billion due to reduced sales and investment income for its Two Rivers Mall Development.
