Nominees for the 2020 African Banker Awards have been announced. The Awards are designed to recognize the reforms, rapid modernisation, consolidation, integration and expansion of Africa’s banking and financial system.
The winners will be announced on 26 August 2020 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire at the Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank (AfDB) which will be held virtually.
In East Africa, some of the financial institutions nominated include Equity Bank Group, National Bank of Commerce (NBC) Limited Tanzania, Kenya Women Microfinance Bank, East African Development Bank, Absa Uganda.
