Telecommunications firm Safaricom Thursday said it was experiencing challenges with M-Pesa, mobile phone-based money transfer service, payments and micro-financing service.
The telco said its service was affecting its My Safaricom App. As a result, Mshwari and KCB M-Pesa services are currently unavailable.
“We are working to restore all services as soon as possible. As an alternative to the app, customers an continue to access M-Pesa services through the Sim Toolkit on your phone menu,” Safaricom said on Thursday.
