The Strategy and Innovation Director at Keroche Breweries Tecra Muigai on Saturday, May 2, died following a tragic accident.
The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Tecra is the daughter of Keroche Breweries Limited Chairman, Joseph Karanja and chief executive Tabitha Karanja.
“Until her death she worked as the Strategy and Innovation Director at Keroche Breweries. As we begin preparation for her final send-off we ask for respect and privacy during these difficult times,” a statement from the Keroche Board and Directors reads.
She was described as ‘brilliant’ adding that her passion and energy were the source of crucial innovations in enriching the company’s products.
“Tecra’s brilliance passion and energy were the source of important innovations that have enriched the company’s product range including the development of new brands that were scheduled to be launched this year,” the firm said.
“While we mourn the loss of a remarkable young lady, we also celebrate her life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true and be willing to explore and push their limits,” their statement adds.
She was the eldest. Her other siblings are: Anerlisa Muigai, James Karanja, Edward Muigai.

Tecra was a thought-changer, high achiever, dedicated and thorough in her duties at the Keroche Breweries, where she served as a Strategy and Innovation Director.
