Fairmont The Norfolk, in Nairobi, will host a 10-day “Cycle of Life” photography exhibition featuring unique historical collections showcasing great Kenyan heritage and experiences created by Anthony Russell.
This is the first-ever public exhibition by Anthony Russell in a hotel displaying unique and rare historical images of memorable moments and connections with animals and people captured over a thirty-year span.
The exhibition which begins Thursday, the 12th September, running to Sunday 22nd September 2019 will provide a platform to showcase Kenyan heritage and experiences.
A substantial percentage of the proceeds will go to Wildlife conservation initiatives.
Anthony is a professional artist, designer, musician, philanthropist and conservationist with a passion for lions and Masai culture. He has drawn upon a lifetime of experience in the African wilderness, a deep knowledge of tribal culture and a rebellious and artistic spirit to create some of Africa’s most desirable and iconic Art.

The event is an opportunity to display Kenya’s experiences captured through the camera over a thirty-year span.”

Throughout the exhibition, a selection of signature cocktails from yesteryears inspired by the hotel’s glamourous heritage will be on offer at a 50% discount. These include; The Kangaroo Aka Dry Martini, 1940’s Moscow Mule, 1950’s Bloody Mary, 1960’s White Russian Aka the Caucasian and 1980’s Cosmopolitan cocktails. Guests are also invited to sample Tatu Restaurant dining at a 15% discount throughout September.
