AAR Healthcare, a medical service and outpatient care provider operating across Kenya and East Africa, has named Jane Gaty as Head of Brand, Experience and Corporate Impact.
Gaty steps into the role carrying more than a decade of work across marketing, brand management, strategic communications and business development in the healthcare sector.
AAR Healthcare announced the appointment on social media, describing Gaty’s career as one marked by high impact marketing campaigns, stronger organisational reputation, new strategic partnerships and steady business growth in the healthcare space. In her new role, the company said, she will lead strategy and operations for communication and stakeholder engagement while pushing to raise the brand’s visibility and reinforce its position in the market.
From maternal health marketing to a hospital brand desk
Gaty joins AAR Healthcare from Malaica, a maternal and digital health enterprise in Kenya, where she served as Marketing Director. Before Malaica, she spent more than seven years at MP Shah Hospital, a private, non profit tertiary referral hospital in Nairobi, where she led marketing, brand and communications as Head of Department.
Her earlier career took her through business development, advertising and market research. She was Head of Business Development at PMS Group, a project manager at Topline Marketing, an advertising account executive at Radio Africa Group and a research executive at DT Dobie and Company Kenya. Each stop added a different layer to a career that now spans more than fourteen years.
Academic grounding to match the résumé
Gaty holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Egerton University and studied Health Care Administration and Management at Strathmore Business School. She also holds a CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing, a qualification that speaks to the technical side of a role that blends brand strategy with corporate reputation work.
On her LinkedIn profile, she describes herself as a marketing and brand leader focused on driving business growth, brand positioning, revenue expansion and strategic partnerships across healthcare, the public sector and private enterprise.
What the appointment signals
The move places brand and reputation work squarely inside AAR Healthcare’s leadership structure at a time when private healthcare providers across East Africa are competing harder for patient trust and market share.
Gaty’s background, spanning a maternal health startup and one of Nairobi’s established referral hospitals, gives her a view of the sector from both ends: fast moving digital health and the slower, trust driven world of hospital brands. How she blends the two will likely shape AAR Healthcare’s public profile in the months ahead.
