Capital A Investment Bank, formerly known as Securities Africa Kenya Limited, unveiled a new brand identity, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

This rebranding follows the firm’s recent upgrade from a licensed stockbroker to an investment bank by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA).

The new brand reflects Capital A’s expanded capabilities and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional investment solutions and fostering financial consciousness. As a regulated entity under the CMA and an authorized trading participant at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Capital A has consistently demonstrated its expertise in the financial services industry.

Capital A has solidified its position as a leading investment firm, particularly in the bonds market, where it holds a market share of 20.8% as of September 2024. With a transaction value of KES 55.2 billion, the company has attracted significant investment flows and contributed to the vibrancy of the market.

Norris Kibe, Capital A’s Chairman, emphasized the firm’s dedication to innovation, growth, and providing unparalleled financial services. “Our goal is to ‘Invest in You,’ our clients, by empowering you to achieve your financial goals seamlessly and profitably,” he stated. Capital A aims to provide a clear platform for the diaspora to invest in Kenya’s vibrant capital markets and drive positive change in the Kenyan financial landscape.

Frank Mwiti, CEO of the Nairobi Securities Exchange, praised Capital A’s rebranding and expansion. He noted that building and growing the Kenyan capital market is a collective responsibility, and Capital A’s leadership and commitment to innovation are valuable contributions.
