NCBA Bank has solidified its presence in Kiambu County by opening new branches in Githunguri and Limuru. The Githunguri branch is located near K-Unity, while the Limuru branch can be found at Mumbi House, adjacent to Farmer’s Choice.

These expansions come shortly after the bank’s significant decision to eliminate all monthly fees for retail banking accounts, effective July 1, 2024.

“Our branches in Limuru and Githunguri are strategic additions to our ongoing expansion plan,” said NCBA in a statement. “We are committed to providing exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.”

Susan Gatwiri, Kiambu County’s CEC for Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, and Investment, said: “The new NCBA branch in Githunguri will undoubtedly open doors to meaningful economic activities for all residents.”

Dennis Njau, NCBA’s Director of Network Businesses and Distribution, expressed the bank’s dedication to positively impacting lives across Kenya. “We are grateful for the warm reception we have received in our expansion efforts,” he said.

NCBA highlighted that the new branches represent progress and opportunity for the communities they serve. Small business owners in Githunguri now have a convenient location to manage their finances and grow their businesses.

“Our goal is to be a trusted partner, offering guidance and support that extends beyond financial transactions,” said Tirus Mwithiga, Group Director Retail Banking at NCBA.

John Gachora, the Managing Director of NCBA Bank, reflected on the significance of the new branch in Githunguri, noting that it fulfils a long-held dream of bringing banking services closer to his hometown.
