The WRC Safari Rally Kenya has been added to the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship calendar. The event will take place in March, alongside other new rallies in Spain, Paraguay, and Saudi Arabia.

The WRC Safari Rally Kenya has been included in the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) calendar. The event will take place from March 20-23, avoiding the Easter holidays.

The 2025 WRC calendar features several new rallies, including Spain, Paraguay, and Saudi Arabia, marking the largest calendar since 2008.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem expressed excitement about the diverse and challenging events included in the calendar.

“It is fantastic to see such a full calendar of events for the 2025 WRC season. Alongside classic locations fans know and love, the introduction of new rallies in Spain, Paraguay, and Saudi Arabia adds even more excitement and reflects the global diversity of competitors and rally fans alike,” said Mohammed.

WRC Promoter Managing Director Jona Siebel highlighted the blend of traditional rallies and new challenges, emphasizing the global appeal of the championship.

The calendar offers a variety of terrains, from icy conditions in the French Alps to high-speed gravel stages in Finland and Estonia, and desert landscapes in Saudi Arabia.

 

The season will begin with the Monte Carlo Rally in January, followed by Sweden in February and the Safari Rally Kenya in March.

Other notable events include the Rally Islas Canarias in Spain, Rally de Portugal, Rally Italia Sardegna, Acropolis Rally Greece, Rally Estonia, Rally Finland, Rally del Paraguay, Rally Chile, Central European Rally, Rally Japan, and Rally Saudi Arabia.

The inclusion of the Safari Rally Kenya in the 2025 calendar further solidifies its position as a globally recognized event. The rally’s unique challenges and stunning landscapes continue to attract drivers, teams, and fans from around the world.
