CSI Energy Group has strengthened its African leadership with the promotion of Natacha Emilien to Deputy Group CEO.

Emilien, previously Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, brings extensive experience and a focus on “just” energy transitions to spearhead the company’s growth in Kenya, a key African market.

Natacha Emilien was appointed Deputy Group CEO with a focus on Kenya and “just” energy transitions.

Driving a “Just” Energy Transition

Emilien will champion a shift towards renewable energy and equitable access to electricity across Africa.

This approach will prioritize marginalized communities, small businesses, affordability, and environmental sustainability.

Emilien will collaborate with female entrepreneurs and advocate for local job creation in new energy industries.

“We are excited to announce plans to grow the teams in Kenya, creating local employment opportunities and contributing to skill development,” said Natacha Emilien, Deputy Group CEO.

“This move aligns with our strategy of fostering sustainable growth and building strong local partnerships in the regions we operate.”

Expanding in Kenya

CSI Energy Group says its expansion will build upon its success in Kenya, including contributions to the flagship Olkaria geothermal project.

New initiatives will focus on harnessing Kenya’s geothermal and solar potential, aligning with the nation’s energy goals. It plans to grow its Kenyan workforce, creating local employment and fostering talent development.
