Ms Caroline Wanjihia has been named Bolt’s Regional Director for Africa and International Markets (Middle East, Asia and LATAM).

Her appointment reflects Bolt’s commitment to optimise its operations, fostering growth, and investing in local talent in the region.

Ms Wanjihia will lead and oversee Bolt’s existing and new operations and initiatives, including regional expansion.

Ms Wanjihia said, “I am honoured and excited to join Bolt. Africa has immense potential, and I believe ride-hailing services can reshape how people travel, connect, and access opportunities.”

Ms Wanjihia has over 15 years of experience in strategy, business development, and operations. She has worked with global leaders such as Coca-Cola, Diageo, Barclays, PwC, and Old Mutual.

Ms Caroline Wanjihia holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA Level III Candidate.
