Uber Eats has expanded to Eldoret and Naivasha, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth in Kenya.

The expansion aims to add value to the local economy but also offers flexible and independent earning opportunities for restaurants, merchants, and delivery people.

Uber Eats is now present in five cities in Kenya: Eldoret, Nairobi, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Mombasa.

Kui Mbugua, General Manager of Uber Eats Kenya, expressed excitement about the expansion into Eldoret and Naivasha.

“We have also rolled out operational updates in Nakuru and Mombasa as we continue with our vision to become people’s everyday choice for instant access to local commerce, offering delivery on everything from restaurant meals, grocery to pharmacy and retail,” she said.

Uber Eats continues to connect businesses and consumers, offering an ever-expanding array of goods and services on the app. Today, consumers can find a wide spectrum of goods on the UberEats app that caters to diverse needs.

UberEats Kenya continues to expand its categories as part of its new vertical business which includes Convenience, Pharmacy and  Wellness, and Everyday Essentials.

According to Uber Eats’ internal data, customers are seeking diverse offerings to satisfy their cravings. The strategy to diversify offerings on the app has been driven by keen observation of consumers’ evolving needs.

“Through Uber Eats, we aim to enhance the overall delivery experience and contribute to the local economy by supporting restaurants and retailers in these cities,” added Kui.
