Kenyan President William Ruto nominated Dr. Kamau Thugge to become Governor of the Central Bank.

“President William Ruto, has, on the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, nominated Dr. Kamau Thugge for appointment as the Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya,” a statement signed by Mr Koskei reads.

Dr Thugge is the senior adviser and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy at the State House.
