PrideInn chain of hotels has closed its Haile Sellasie property following the expiry of its lease at the end of March 2023.

In a notice, the hotel chain said, “effective end of March 2023, our Pride Inn Mombasa branch Haile Selassie property will no longer be under the Pride Inn Hotels portfolio,” read a statement from Hasnain Noorani, the Group Managing Director.

“After fruitful and productive years of operations in the city of Mombasa, our PrideInn Haile Selassie property will no longer be under the PrideInn Hotels portfolio. Our lease had expired and since we did not renew it, the property management had other plans with the asset,” the hotels’ Group Managing Director, Hasnain Noorani

“As we mark the end of an illustrious chapter of dedicated services to our guests and the community, we assure you we will honour all contractual obligations and commitments made for this hotel up to end of March, 2023.”

The PrideInn chain will now consist of seven hotels: PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort and Spa, PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort, PrideInn Nyali, PrideInn Diani, PrideInn Westlands, and PrideInn Azure, which range from luxury to economy.
