Africa’s biggest reality TV franchise, Big Brother, will start on January 15 and end on April 22, 2023.

The special edition, dubbed “Big Brother Titans”, will blend Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi, South Africa. The winner will go home with a cash prize of $100,000.

“This special edition is a fusion of two TV phenomena, BB Mzansi and BBNaija,” M-Net channels head of programming Nomsa Philiso said in a press statement. “We are bringing housemates from two giant nations, South Africa and Nigeria, under one roof to give entertainment to audiences across the continent a show of intense drama like never before.”

“We are telling our audience to be ready for the biggest takeover on TV starting from 15 January 2023. It promises an abundance of South African and Nigerian swag, banter, romance, and everything in between.”

The season will feature housemates from South Africa and Nigeria, with Lawrence Maleka and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as the hosts.
