Priscilla Gathungu is now the Chief Executive Officer of the Java House Africa Group. She takes over from Derrick Van Houten, who joined the group in March 2021.

“Java House Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Priscilla Gathungu as Group Chief Executive Officer,” Java House Africa posted on its  LinkedIn page.

Gathungu’s career at Java spans various leadership roles across the group. From the Human Resources department as Human Resources Director for six years to a successful stint as Commercial Director that saw her transition into the role of Divisional Managing Director at Foodscape, where she has consistently delivered value and growth for the business over the last two years.

Java House owns the 360 Degrees Artisan Pizza, Kukito and Planet Yogurt food chain brands.

Gathungu holds a Masters in Business Administration—Strategic Leadership from Concordia University – St. Paul and started as a Human Resource Director at Java in March 2014.
