Kenya Airways will resume its regular flights schedule from its hub, the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), on Thursday.
“Back to the skies. Normal schedule to resume by November 12, 2022,” the airline announced to its passengers.

Judge Anna Mwaure of the Employment and Labour Relations Court ordered on Tuesday that pilots should resume their duties “unconditionally” by 6 am Wednesday.
The Kenya Airline Pilots Association called off their strike notice Tuesday following the court order to resume work.
“Members are also urged to report to the Executive Council any incident of victimisation or disciplinary action that may be taken contrary to the court’s orders,” Kalpa said.
Members of the Kenya Airline Pilots Association (KALPA), a union representing about 400 pilots at the carrier, went on strike on Saturday after failing to resolve a dispute over their pension contributions and settlement of deferred pay.
The industrial action negatively affected 12,000 passengers, with 56 flights cancelled on Sunday.
Kenya Airways also welcomed the court’s decision.
“We thank the court for the expeditious ruling that now allows KQ to resume its normal operations. We commit to complying with the court’s directions,” said a statement by Allan Kilavuka, the Group Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Airways.
