WBC Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua has told Tyson Fury that he is ready to fight him in December.
The former heavyweight champion responded to a gauntlet thrown to him by the Gypsy King in a mega clash between the two fighters.
Fury, the reigning WBC Heavyweight Champion, challenged his fellow countryman for a fight dubbed ‘the Battle of Britain’.
Fury was set to fight Oleksandr Usyk in a unification match. Still, the Ukrainian fighter insisted on taking a family break until February after beating AJ in last month’s rematch in Saudi Arabia.
Fury, reluctant to wait until next year for Usyk to fight him for the cherished undisputed world heavyweight crown while already back in training, called out Joshua for the clash for which home fans have been waiting for years.
Yea calm. I don’t do the online discussions just for clout, so if your really about it shout @258mgt. I’ll be ready in December. Khalas https://t.co/kKCWdrlmol
