Mumbi Maina, best known for her role as Zara in the hit telenovela-Salem, will be replaced by Ilya Frank effective August 15, 2022.

Illya Frank is no stranger to the Kenyan television and entertainment space. She first hit the small screens in her debut performance on Reality Show-Nairobi Diaries.
She later played a vital role in a comedy series Disconnect as Belinda and on Maza TV as Keisy Brown.
Her latest role has been in the epic telenovela Kovu where she plays the character Tasha which aired on Maisha Magic Plus and now broadcasting on the sister channel, Maisha Magic East.
