PULA Advisors, a leading Agri-insurtech company, has been selected by the World Economic Forum for their innovation and impact in using technology to provide agriculture insurance to millions of smallholder farmers in emerging markets.

PULA is among WEF’s selection of the 100 most promising Technology Pioneers of 2022 to its Technology Pioneers community.

PULA Advisors works with smallholder farmers to provide Yield Index Insurance which is a comprehensive cover that de-risks smallholder farmers against any systemic risks that will affect their yields. PULA also leverages digital technology to provide agronomy advice that helps farmers become better producers.

PULA operates across 16 countries in Asia and Africa and has impacted 6 million smallholder farmers with our insurance and digital technology products.

“Through PULA, we enable millions of rural people to take their destiny into their own hands and make them the most economic and socially empowered citizens of the emerging markets” – Said CEO Thomas Njeru during the nomination ceremony.

“The future is in farmers’ hands; they only need the appropriate technology and tools and then they can feed the world. This nomination is a recognition for PULA, but mainly for farmers’ work and an invitation for all to support us to change their lives.”
