Chelsea thrash hapless Tottenham 3-0 at Tottenham Stadium.
The Blues put in a solid second half performance to thrash Tottenham 3-0 in a one-sided London derby on Sunday.
The sides struggled to get the better of each other in the first half with each coming close to open the scoring but not finding the net.
Thomas Tuchel made a tactical change at the break bringing on Ngolo Kante for Mason Mount which proved to be the decisive moment for the Blues.
Thiago Silva opened the scoring with powerful header from a Marcos Alonso’s corner.
Ngolo Kante doubled the lead minutes later when his shot deflected off Eric Dier’s boot and rolled past Hugo Lloris.
Antonio Rudiger made it three with a striker’s finish after being teed up by substitute Timo Werner.
Result sends Chelsea to the summit of the table while Tottenham are in seventh.
The Blues host Aston Villa while Tottenham visit the Emirates for the North London derby.
