Tabitha Mukami Muigai Karanja, a Kenyan businesswoman, entrepreneur and industrialist and the Founder and current Chief Executive Officer of Keroche Breweries has celebrated her departed mother-in-law, Monicah Wanjiru, in a unique way.

Tabitha was set to celebrate her birthday on Monday (August 30, 2021) but got a blow with the demise of her mother-in-law. She took the social media pages to eulogize the woman she has described as her mentor and pillar.

“Life is a journey that is weaved by our creator in heaven. The colouring of it is at the behest of our choices & decisions that we make every day. As I celebrate the enchanting life of my Mother-In-Law who left us yesterday at the penultimate of her life at 97, I am reminded to celebrate life, to take it by the horns & to live it to the fullest by being kind, remaining teachable & always living through the lens of integrity and purpose,” she said.

According to Tabitha, the demise of her Mother-In-Law on Sunday puts her birthday in sharp focus this Monday and to honour her, she decided to dedicate her birthday to her.

“This is to remind us all that life is fickle like the roses, that to leave a mark, to live forever, we must ensure the success of others and the security of our future generations. Go well, Mama! We will dearly miss you,” she added.

Tabitha Karanja says to live life to the fullest like her Mother-In-Law, one has to purpose to live an honest life that is tailored towards lifting others up. She says it is always good to lift people on your way up because you might need them on your way down.

“Life is like a race. In this race of life, it does not matter how fast one reaches the finishing line but how many people one helps to reach the finishing line,” she said.
