The best football leagues in the world are back this August, as the world of champions, SuperSport brings live action of the new season in all its HD glory and on SD to DStv and GOtv football fans across the continent.
As part of our strategy to put customers at the heart of everything we do, MultiChoice will continue to bring the most action-packed football from the best players in the world, when the top leagues in the world kick off on August 7.
SuperSport will be showing all 380 Premier League matches on the dedicated channel SuperSport Premier League (223), 380 games from La Liga in its new home SuperSport La Liga (224) and 380 matches of Serie A with DStv & GOtv customers getting access to games available on their specific packages.
What’s more, football lovers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to the return of the UEFA Europa League – the second most important trophy in Europe, after the UEFA Champions League – on their Channel of Champions. The Europa League and FA Cup will be exclusive to SuperSport adding to the best football viewing experience across all the continent.
Football fans will also be able to follow comprehensive coverage of the most loved football leagues with hundreds of games The UEFA Champions League (UCL), UEFA Nations League (UNL) and European qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The season kicks off with Manchester City and Leicester City when they stage for the Community Shield match on Saturday 7 August. La Liga and Serie A kick-off on August 13.
Atletico Madrid will start as favourites to hold off the challenge offered by Real Madrid and Barcelona, but an exciting Sevilla side could be even more prominent in the title challenge, while the high turnover of coaches in Serie A makes their new season entirely unpredictable!
Internazionale is the reigning champions, but Juventus, Milan, Napoli, Lazio and a Roma side now managed by Jose Mourinho will all be gunning for the Scudetto in 2021-22.
This will then be followed in quick succession by the Premier League kicking off on August 14, 2021. Manchester City and Pep Guardiola will be looking to continue their dominance but are likely to face a renewed challenge from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United, while England’s famed and beloved FA Cup remains an exclusive for SuperSport.
The 2021–22 Premier League will be the 30th season of the Premier League, the top English professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1992. The much-awaited UEFA Europa League kicks off on September 16, 2021, and will run until May 18, 2022.
