Italy beat Belgium 2-1 to book semi-final clash against Spain.
The Italians put up a strong and remarkable performance as they saw off tournament favorites Belgium on Saturday evening.
The Azzuri began brightly and had a goal in the 13th minute only for a VAR review to cancel out Leonarndo Bonucci’s effort.
But Roberto Mancini’s side were in the ascendancy and took the lead thanks to a wonderful effort by Inter’s Nicolo Barella.
The Italians doubled their score minutes before half-time with a wonderful curve from Lorenzo Insigne.
Belgium got one goal back through Romelu Lukaku’s penalty in stoppage time of the half.
The Red Devils attempted to rally in second half but a solid defense by the Italians saw of the match.
The Italians will now take on Spain in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
