Gor Mahia crash out of CAF Champions League with 2-1 loss to CR Belouizdad at the Nyayo Stadium.

The Kenyan side are out of the continental competition, losing 8-1 on aggregate.

Jules Ulimwengu opened the scoring for the hosts as they looked to overturn the huge goal deficit they suffered in the first leg.

The Green Army however failed to build on the first half goal and headed into the break with the solitary goal.

In the second half, the visitors came out stronger and more threatening than in the previous half.

Their push would be rewarded in the 79th minute when Amir Sayoud equalized for the Algerians.

They would then seal the win minutes later when Abdelkader Belharane found the net in the 84th minute.

The result means that the Kenyan side will drop to the Confederation Cup, and attempt to turn their fortune in Africa’s second tier competition.
