Google, Gmail, YouTube Back Online after Global Outage

Google has opened a product development center in Nairobi, its first in the continent, to build products and services for the African market.

Google services including Gmail, YouTube, and Google Docs Monday faced a global outage with most services remaining inaccessible.

Reports of the outage was around 6:30 a.m. Eastern time, according to DownDetector.

Later, Google restored the services with an apology to its users.
