Anthony Joshua put in a solid championship performance to earn a 9th round knock out of IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev.
AJ stepped into the ring for the first time in over a year to take on 39-year-old Pulev in front of 1,000 fans at Wembley Arena, the first boxing event in Britain to host fans during the coronavirus pandemic.
And it was a performance that displayed the devastating Joshua of old combined with the maturity developed in the last few years to put away the durable and game Bulgarian.
Joshua floored Pulev in the third round but remained calm behind his jab before finally putting the Cobra away with a huge right hand that put the challenger away.
In his postfight Interview, Joshua reiterated his desire to cement his legacy as an Undisputed Heavyweight Champion, which will see him take on fellow Brit Heavyweight Tyson Fury.
