Premier League action resumes this Saturday with Liverpool set to be without several key players.

The Reds are already without Virgil van Djik for the rest of the season with Joe Gomez needing a ‘miracle’ for him to be involved this season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are are also without right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who pulled up with a hamstring injury against Manchester City last time out.

Fabinho, who might have slotted into a makeshift back line, is also sidelined. Likewise Rhys Williams, who took a heavy kick to the foot while playing for Wales.

Captain Jordan Henderson is also a doubt and this leaves Klopp with a selection dilemma ahead of the crunch clash against league leaders Leicester City.

Jurgen Klopp will be having a team selection dilemma with his side missing several key players

The reigning champions will be missing talisman Mohammed Salah who tested positive for Covid-19 while away on international duty with Egypt.

Summer signing Thiago Alcantara is also doubtful for the mouth-watering clash against former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

The Foxes are flying high with forward Jamie Vardy who has nine goals for the season and seems to go from strength to strength. The creativity in their midfield with James Maddison, Harvey Barnes and Youri Tielemans is brilliant and 19-year-old Wesley Fofana at the back look like he’s played in blue for years.

The defensive crisis will be a major worry for Klopp with the visitors who thrive on direct balls to challenge the opposition back line and will be licking their lips at the prospect of rattling the inexperienced Neco Williams and Nat Phillips.
