Sir Sean Connery, the first actor to play James Bond, has died. He was 90.
According to the BBC, the actor died in his sleep while in the Bahamas.

His last acting role had been in Stephen Norrington’s “The League of Extraordinary Gentleman” (2003).
Connery starred in seven 007 films between 1962 and 1983. He was the first actor to play James Bond on the big screen in Dr. No in 1962, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever followed.
He was honoured with an Oscar, two Baftas and three Golden Globes during his career.
He starred in films like ‘Indiana Jones’ and ‘The Untouchables’, was knighted by the Queen in 2000.
Connery published his autobiography, “Being a Scot,” co-written with Murray Grigor, in 2008.
