Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee is the new Harambee Stars head coach after signing a three-year deal following the exit of his predecessor Francis Kimanzi.

“I thank the federation for having faith in me to steer the team to seal a place in the next forthcoming Afcon and World Cup. I have been monitoring the performance of the team for a while and I am pleased with the quality which we have,” Mulee said.

He was unveiled by FKF President Nick Mwendwa at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.

Mulee takes over the reins from Francis Kimanzi who was axed from the squad.

‘Ghost’ Mulee’s will be called upon to lead the team to qualify for both the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

He will be assisted by Musa Otieno with Haggai Azande primed for the goalkeeping coach role.

Mulee helped the Stars reach the Africa Cup of Nations in 2004.
