Arsenal agree to personal terms with Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners look to seal the signing of Houssem Aouar from the French side Lyon in the coming days.
Reports indicate that the North-London side have agreed to personal terms with the highly-rated midfielder to move to Premier League.
Houseem Aouar has been linked with a move away from France having impressed in his side’s Champions League journey last season.
The 22-year-old is valued at around £54million by Ligue 1 though the Gunners have put in a bid lower than that market price.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is believed to be keen on bolstering his squad in his full debut season with the Gunners and capture of Aouar looks imminent.
The club has also been linked with versatile midfielder Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid as the club looks to mount a better campaign than the previous one where they finished eighth in the league.
The Gunners have begun the season well, picking up two wins in two games that have them second in the league standings.
