Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to sign new Arsenal contract.
Aubameyang is said to have agreed to a new contract with the North London side.
The skipper has verbally agreed to pen a new three-year deal worth £250,000-per-week.
The Gunners have been keen to keeping the lethal forward at the club having led them to FA Cup glory earlier this month.
Club Manager Mikel Arteta has repeatedly stated of his desire and wish to have the Gabon international at the Emirates.
Arteta took over the reins at Arsenal and had a relatively good season that saw the Gunners lift the FA Cup, beating Manchester City and Chelsea enroute to the domestic cup.
The Spaniard is keen to rebuild the squad ahead of next season.
The club has already signed Willian from Chelsea on a free transfer. The Brazilian is said to have caught the manager’s eye, who described him as ‘Mr Versatile’.
News of a new contract for Aubameyang will be good news for the side which has heavily called on the skipper to drag them through matches.
The club are also working on a deal to sign Lille defender Gabriel Maghalhaes.
