Manchester City’s David Silva set to join Lazio when their Champions League campaign comes to an end.

The Spaniard is set to leave the Etihad team after 10 years of loyal service to the club in which he won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and five EFL Cups.

Reports indicate that he is expected to sign a three-year deal with Lazio on Monday.

Report by Italian outlets Corriere dello Sport, Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia, claim the 34-year-old is set to be announced as a Lazio player next week.

The reports indicate that Lazio has offered the midfielder an ‘impressive’ salary as well as a series of perks, including the use of a private jet to visit his family in Spain.

Silva made a cameo in City’s 2-1 win over Real Madrid, replacing Raheem Sterling in the 81st minute.

The diminutive midfielder helped his side see out a 2-1 win that booked City’s place in the quarter-finals against Lyon in Lisbon. After the game, he was seen waving goodbye at the camera as he left the pitch.
