Online betting firm BetKing Kenya is the new official Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League title partners.

This was revealed on Thursday, July 16 by FKF president Nick Mwendwa as he announced the KSh 1.2 billion five-year sponsorship deal.

The league will be referred to as the BetKing Premier League, he said.

Under the partnership, each participating club will be entitled to at least Ksh 8 Million every year from the Federation.

“Our players and club officials have had it rough over the past few years because of an underfunded league,” said FKF President Nick Mwendwa

“I am happy today to announce BetKing Kenya as our title sponsor in the biggest deal in our history,” he added.

The partnership starts at Ksh 220 Million in the first year, and increments by 5% in the second year, and 10% in the subsequent years.

“We will also commit KES 10 Million of the License fees paid by our partners to the Kenya Women Premier League,” added Mwendwa.
