Leroy Sane has rejected a contract extension at Manchester City.
Manchester City has been in negotiations with the German to extend his contract at Eithad Stadium. Reports now indicate that City are willing to allow Sane to leave.
City Boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that the club wanted to keep the German international but the 24-year old has insisted on leaving.
The Spaniard said: ‘Leroy said he does not want to extend his contract. If he wants to leave and it is going to happen this summer or at the end of the contract. The club talked to him a few times, he rejected and wants to play for another club.’
PEP ? (Re Sane) When we make an offer to a player it’s because we want him. He has special quality. We want players who want to play with the club to achieve targets.
He is a nice guy and I love him so much. I have nothing against – but he wants another adventure.

Sane signed for Manchester City from Schalke in 2016 for an initial £37 million fee.
He was voted PFA Young Player of the Year PFA in 2017–18 after helping City win the Premier League and EFL Cup, a feat the side bettered by winning a domestic treble the following season.
Sane has been heavily linked with a return to Germany and signing with Bayern Munich.
