Kenya Railways has resumed all commuter train services following a review of the national curfew hours.
According to Managing Director Philip Mainga normal operations from Nairobi to Ruiru, Kikuyu, Embakasi, and Syokimau will operate between 6am and 7am and 5.30pm and 7pm.

“We are now offering full service running on the normal schedule. We will still enforce the Covid-19 guidelines to ensure the transportation of commuters is a safe undertaking,” he said.
However, the Nairobi-Mombasa Madaraka Express Passenger Service remains suspended following cessation movement orders in and out of Nairobi to prevent the spread of Covid-19. with the exception of Freight Services.
