France and Holland are set to resume schooling after weeks of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Schools in France and Holland are set to welcome back pupils and students after weeks on close due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Primary school pupils in France are set to resume school on May 11 for lessons that will be restricted to not more than 15 children per class.
In Holland, the children will be allowed to return to lessons from May 11. However, learning will be on a part-time basis.
Older children in France will be allowed to return to school on My 18 on condition that the schools meet the set health guidelines and conditions by the state.
The government further indicated that any arrangements would be discussed with the local authorities, unions, parents and guardians.
In Italy, the government is making preparations for easing the set lockdowns from May 4.
Italy (alongside Spain) has been the hardest hit nation in Europe with more than 24,100 people succumbing to the coronavirus.
Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, however, indicated that any changes made will have to cautious and calculated to avoid chances of a resurgence of the pandemic.
