Suzanna Owiyo, Kenya’s greatest musical talents had the best of her life, judging from her Instagram and Twitter pictures.

The Forty-four-year-old Suzanna took her girls to Mombasa County to unwind after attending a busy week in Nairobi during the 25th International Conference on Population Development (ICPD25).

On Saturday, Nov. 16, the ‘Kisumu 100’ singer announced her entry at the coast. “Mombasa is beautiful,” as she walked along the sandy beaches with the Indian Ocean waters kissing her feet.

Later in the day, it seemed she had to show her glamorous side and love for fashion. Dressed in fine African prints, all she was left to say was that she was in Mombasa County (County 001).

On Sunday, she revealed the reason for her stay in Mombasa raha.

“Enjoying FIP Reunion Vacay in County 001. Blessed to have these b’tiful ladies around,” she announced together with her girls in matching attires.

She is globally known for fusing traditional Kenyan music with traditional African instruments, and contemporary rhythms.

In 2013, she was designated National Goodwill Ambassadors for the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). In her role,  she supports UNEP initiatives.

She is also the founder Soko Bila Waste Foundation that sensitizes traders on reducing food wastage. It is part of the support she gives to UNEP’s global food waste campaign THINK EAT SAVE.
