Brazil star Ronaldinho is the world’s greatest footballer, more decorated than Juventus and Barcelona stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi respectively.
Chelsea forward, who is a Brazilian, Willian, has sensationally claimed Ronaldo and Messi will never be at par with his fellow countryman.
This comes as Ronaldo and Messi tower the football world with their historic exploits on the pitch, exchanging the Ballon d’Ors every time.
Ronaldinho, even though he hung his boots in 2015, remains an influential name in the beautiful game due to his unmatched skills that transcend centuries.
And his compatriot Willian thinks he is the greatest footballer ever and should he have played more years for Barcelona, no one would have beaten his record.
“If he had kept up the level a couple of years, he would have won many more Ballon d’Or’s,” Willian was quoted as having said by Daily Star.
“Ronaldinho was the best of all time. Better than Messi and Cristiano. They score goals, but what Ronnie did was incredible. He was amazing on the field and also scored,” he added.
Willian’s statement comes barely hours before Brazil clash with Argentina. Messi has been recalled to the Argentine team.
Ronaldo netted another hattrick, taking his tally higher when Portugal clashed with Lithuania in an international friendly.
