Low-cost domestic carrier Silverstone Air on Tuesday, suspended all its operations after the regulator grounded its Dash 8 fleet for seven days pending a probe into incidents involving the aircraft.
“During this period we will continue to work with our customers to help minimize any disruption to their travel,” the airline said in a statement.
It added, “we are in the process of contacting all our clients to protect them.”

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCCA) suspended two aircraft operators (SAC and Adventures Aloft). SAC is a cargo airline while Aloft is a hot air balloon operator.

KCCA is yet to publish its report following two emergency landings by Silverstone aircraft in two weeks.
