Kenya Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks’ coach William Muluya’s time at the club might be as good as over following Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Kisumu All-Stars.

The 2018 Shield champions came into the match under pressure to win following a poor start of just one win, four draws and three losses.

It was not easy for the newly promoted side as well; they had drawn three matches and lost five.

It seemed the match was headed to a barren draw until defender Amani Kyata turned the ball into his net to give Kisumu All-Stars their first win and compound William Muluya’s miseries.

In another league match, Tusker FC needed a late penalty to claim a 1-1 draw against 10-man KCB.

Reagan Otieno gave the bankers a deserved lead after just 14 minutes, Bethwel Warambo was sent to the showers early giving the Brewers a numerical advantage. However, the hosts held on until late into the match.

The Zedekiah Otieno-led side conceded a penalty, and Timothy Otieno held his nerves to claim a point for his side.

Posta Rangers defeated Chemelil Sugar 3-0 to end their three-match winless run.

Charles Odette, Francis Nambute and Joseph Mbugi scored a goal apiece to hand the hosts maximum points.
